Holly and Trent’s intimate wedding in Baton Rouge was one to remember. I have never been to Louisiana before and was over the moon when they asked! Holly is a dear friend from my childhood and I was honored when she asked me to photograph their special day.

Holly’s parents got married at the same venue in Baton Rouge many years ago. When Holly and I were little her father tragically passed away. In honor of his memory, she decided to get married in the same venue to the love of her life Trent. Holly’s dad’s presence was definitely felt throughout the whole day. Talk about a beautiful and emotional filled day!

My favorite part of the day was Holly and Trent’s first look! There were a lot of tears and so many hugs. Even Holly’s mom Michelle ran in to join the beautiful moment.

This photo of Holly and Trent exciting their ceremony was inspired by a photo of Holly’s parents on their wedding day! We of course had to recreate it.

This wedding was full of beautiful details and an amazing dance party at the end!
